Faith - Sonoma, CA - Dedicates New Organ
On Sunday, October 11th, 2009 the congregation of Faith Lutheran Church, Sonoma, CA, dedicated a new organ to the glory of God.
Several anonymous donor families made possible the installation of Faith's new Ahlborn-Galanti organ. Ahlborn-Galanti organs are manufactured in Italy by Ahlborn Organs. Faith's new organ has the equivalent of 29 ranks with 157 independently voiceable stops.
Faith Lutheran Church of Sonoma Valley has experienced considerable development in its music program. With the arrival of new Choir Director, Peggy Carroll, and Organist/Worship Accompanist, Mark Rasmussen, Faith now has an active 19 voice choir with an additional vocal trio ensemble to enhance our weekly Sunday Morning worship service. Faith's congregation also uses piano, flute, oboe, French horn and violin throughout the year as well. A festive dedicatory recital is planned for early 2010 for the greater Sonoma community.
